Dr. Mark Bart is a Senior Scientist at Air Quality Limited and brings expertise in a number of scientific disciplines. He earned his PhD in chemistry from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch in 2003 and was subsequently employed by the Measurement Standards Laboratory of New Zealand, where he specialized in infrared temperature measurement.
In 2007 he moved to the United Kingdom to work at the University of Leeds and National Centre for Atmospheric Science as a field measurement and instrumentation specialist, gaining experience in a range of atmospheric field measuring disciplines and research programmes. He returned to New Zealand in 2011 to take up employment as Senior Scientist at Aeroqual Limited. His role at Aeroqual included managing complex field measurement programmes, designing calibration systems, data analysis and customer engagement. Dr Bart started at Air Quality Limited in 2013 as senior scientist, with a special focus on delivering cost effective monitoring solutions to a range of customers.
